3. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? Psalms 119:9
This question follows naturally. If sin brings death then what is necessary to cleanse us from sin? The
Bible is clear that there is only one way to have our sins cleansed or forgiven, the blood of an innocent victim must be shed on our behalf. Hebrews 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.” God will not forgive or remit our sins unless innocent blood is applied to pay for and cover them. In the Old Testament the blood of animals temporarily covered sin. Though the Bible is clear that their blood could never take away sin.
Hebrews 10:4 “For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.” Since
sin entered the world by one man then it can only be cleansed by the blood of one innocent man.
Which naturally leads us to the next question.

4. Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Romans 7:24
God promised through the voice of many prophets to send someone to be His sacrifice for sin, He
would be called the Christ. The prophets said He was God’s Son, born of a virgin. Isaiah 7:14
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Well over 2,000 years ago Jesus was the firstborn child of the virgin Mary. God was His Father and Mary was His mother making Him both God and man. At His birth angels came to announce that He was the Christ. Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Jesus is the Christ. He is simply called Jesus Christ. He came into the world to save us from our sins. The Prophets predicted many things that Christ would do. The most compelling is found in Isaiah 53 where the prophet speaks in detail about the horrible suffering and crucifixion that Christ would endure. Everything the prophet spoke about Christ came to pass in the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus, He is the Christ. Jesus is the only one who can deliver us from death, Hell, and the grave.

5. (Jesus says) But whom say ye that I am? Matthew 16:15
Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, God's Son who was born a man? Jesus lived His entire life
without committing sin and performed great miracles proving He was the Christ. When He began His
ministry John the Baptist introduced Him as God’s sacrifice for sin. John 1:29 “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” Jesus Christ came to save sinners but in order to do that He would have to die on the cross in our place and rise from the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.” Jesus did die and rise from the dead in our place. Do you believe He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God?

6. What shall I do to inherit eternal life? Luke 18:18
To inherit eternal life you must know Jesus. Knowing Jesus is more than knowing the facts about Him, it involves having a relationship with Him as Savior and Lord.. The first step is to repent. Repentance involves turning away from sin. Acts 3:19 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Next we must place our faith and trust in Jesus. Faith in Jesus is a wholehearted commitment to Him. We must believe in Jesus with all of our heart. Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” So if you wish to have Eternal Life you must repent of your sin, believe in Jesus with all of your heart, and begin a relationship with Him today.

7. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Mark 8:36
We are a unique creation. Our bodies are earthly but God gave us a soul. When we die these bodies
will go back to the Earth and our soul will return to God. Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” Friend, your soul is more valuable than all that this world has to offer. When you die you will lose all of your worldly possessions. If you die without Jesus you will lose your soul. Losing your soul will be catastrophic in comparison to losing your worldly possessions. Please do not put off this decision. The Bible says the time to act is now. 2 Corinthians 6:2 “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” Make the right choice today. Joshua 24:15 “Choose you this day whom ye will serve.”
If God is speaking to your heart about salvation we encourage you to bow your head and in prayer call upon the name of Jesus. Confess your sin to Him and turn from it. Trust in Jesus with your whole heart and confess Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Then go find a good Bible teaching Church and serve the Lord.

1. What is truth? John 18:38
Truth begins with God. God has never lied, He has always done what He said He would do. God is the
source of truth. Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that he should lie; … hath he said, and shall he not
do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” The Bible or Scripture is a collection of things
which God has spoken to humans. The Bible calls that inspiration or God breathed. What God spoke,
holy men of God wrote down. 2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” Therefore because
God is the source of truth and He spoke everything recorded in the Bible we can be sure that the Bible
is God’s truth to us. These 7 questions which come from the Bible are answered from the Bible. They
lay out the truth about how to have Eternal Life and a home in Heaven.

2. If a man die, shall he live again? Job 14:14
In essence the question is asking, “Is there life after death?” The Bible teaches that God created us in
His own image and gave us an eternal soul. Eternity is a reality and the proof is in the fact that we all
have a longing to go to Heaven. Jesus tells a story of two men who die, one goes to Heaven and the
other goes to Hell, see Luke 16:19-31. Eternity is real, but why 2 different destinations? To answer this
question we must first consider the root cause of death. All death, whether accidental, natural, or
incidental is a consequence of sin. Sin is anything we think, say, or do to break God’s law, the 10
commandments. The Bible says we have all broken God’s law. Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and
come short of the glory of God.” The consequence for sin is death which is eternal separation from God
in Hell. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death.” Sin is the cause of death and death is the
consequence for sin. Eternal life is a gift we must receive from God. Eternal death and separation from
God is the default destination of all sinners. But God has made a way for us to be forgiven or cleansed
of our sin and live again. Please read on.

These 7 BIG questions all come from the Bible. They are very compelling in nature. The answers to these questions reveal the truth that every soul needs to know if they long to go to Heaven. Please take a few moments to read over the questions and consider where you will spend eternity.
